Corandini
Corandini, is our name for Corianda. It is a fun way of saying it is a mini version of Corianda.
Coriander has a distinctive zesty, aromatic flavour, similar to a blend of lemon and sage.
It is great with chilli, basil, mint, chicken, beef, avocado, coconut, fish and seafood. Remember for hot dishes, add on the plate just before serving.
Corianda is a wonderful source of manganese, iron and magnesium as well. The leaves are rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin K and protein. It contains anti-inflammitory properies and is a good source of anti-oxidents. Bear in mind that microherbs contain up to 40 times more nutrients.
Naked Carrot microherbs are grown in their own nutritionally balanced soil without the use of chemicals for even more goodness.
Although native to Iran, coriander grows wild over a wide area of Western Asia and southern Europe. Corianda was discovered in the tomb of Tutankhaman and archeaologists believe it was even cultivated during the early Bronze Age and in the Middle Ages coriander was used in love potions. Coriander is an essential ingredient in Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, North African, Mexican and Latin American cuisine.
